Overnight bridge work and brief westbound afternoon delays to Exit 38A
Overnight roadwork closed the eastbound span until early morning, funneling traffic into a two-way configuration on the westbound span with one lane in each direction. Later in the day, westbound traffic backed up 1.5 miles to Exit 38A (Duke Street) between 1:02 PM and 2:12 PM, with additional congestion reported further east near MD 404. Eastbound travel remained clear and light all day, peaking at just 12 minutes.
