Minor eastbound delays Sunday afternoon; overnight lane closures
Traffic was generally light across Sunday with only two brief periods of eastbound congestion. Eastbound delays peaked at 17 minutes around 5:12 PM, creating a 1.5-mile backup stretching to Exit 31 (Whitehall Road) before clearing by 5:57 PM. Earlier, a one-mile slowdown reached Exit 32 (Sandy Point) between 12:47 PM and 1:17 PM. By late night at 11:57 PM, roadwork closed the westbound span, shifting traffic into two-way operations with one lane in each direction.
