Midday Eastbound Delays Peak Near Whitehall Road on July 15
The Bay Bridge operated under overnight two-way traffic configurations before opening to normal daytime lane counts. Eastbound travelers faced midday delays peaking at 18 minutes around 11:00 a.m., with backups stretching 1.5 miles to Whitehall Road (Exit 31). Traffic returned to normal by 3:13 p.m. with no significant westbound delays reported all day.
