Eastbound travelers faced the heaviest congestion of the day between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., with eastbound delays peaking at 31 minutes around 2:00 p.m. and extending 3.5 miles back to Exit 29a (Bush Frontage Road). Westbound traffic saw minor delays starting at 3:38 p.m., backing up 0.6 miles to Exit 37 (Route 8 overpass). All delays cleared by 7:18 p.m., though late-night maintenance closed the eastbound left lane and two westbound right lanes with no resulting backups.
