Wind warnings and midday eastbound delays highlight Friday crossings
A wind warning with sustained speeds of 30 to 39 mph persisted across the bridge for most of the day, beginning at 2:38 AM. Eastbound traffic experienced peak delays reaching 24 minutes around noon as backups stretched 3.5 miles to Exit 29A (Buschs Frontage Road).
