Westbound delays peaked at 7.6 miles Sunday afternoon following a lane blockage
Eastbound traffic remained completely clear with travel times reaching only 11 minutes throughout Sunday. Trouble began on the westbound span around 1:13 PM when a disabled vehicle blocked the right lane near Exit 38A (Duke Street). Westbound backups quickly extended to 7.6 miles reaching Exit 44A (VFW Avenue) between 1:53 PM and 2:53 PM, pushing travel times to 20 minutes before traffic fully cleared by 4:23 PM.
