Brief westbound and Severn River approach delays resolved by late afternoon
Traffic flowed smoothly across the Bay Bridge for most of Saturday, with travel times topping out at 12 minutes in both directions. A 1.5-mile westbound delay backed up traffic to Exit 38A (Duke Street) at 1:31 PM while two-way operations ended, leaving two right lanes open and the left lane closed. Between 1:47 PM and 3:22 PM, eastbound approaches faced delays up to 3.1 miles back to Exit 23 approaching the Severn River Bridge, though Bay Bridge spans remained clear.
