Overnight sustained winds between 30 and 39 mph prompted a wind warning from 1:52 AM to 5:38 AM without causing travel delays. Minor eastbound delays occurred late morning from Exit 32 (Sandy Point), while westbound afternoon traffic backed up 3.2 miles to Exit 39B (MD 552/Dominion Road) around 4:33 PM with peak travel times reaching 18 minutes.
