Midday Eastbound Delays Extend 2.5 Miles Ahead of Overnight Bridge Work
Eastbound traffic experienced midday delays extending up to 2.5 miles back to Exit 30 (Whitehall Road) between 11:47 AM and 1:00 PM as crews closed lanes to prepare for two-way traffic. Travel times peaked at 14 minutes eastbound during this period before clearing by early afternoon. Later at 9:52 PM, the eastbound span was fully closed for roadwork, shunting traffic onto the westbound bridge with one lane open in each direction.
