Severe Saturday Delays Hit Both Directions at the Bay Bridge
Eastbound traffic faced heavy congestion for most of the day, peaking with a 7.5-mile backup stretching to Exit 24 (Rowe Boulevard) between 1:33 PM and 3:32 PM. Westbound drivers also experienced delays up to 5.4 miles extending past Exit 42 at Kent Narrows around midday. Traffic flow in both directions finally returned to normal conditions by 6:17 PM.
