Early morning wind warnings were active with sustained speeds between 30 and 39 mph through 6:17 AM before returning late in the evening at 11:18 PM. Eastbound US 50 traffic experienced midday delays peaking at 16 minutes from 11:48 AM to 1:02 PM, reaching back 1.5 miles to Exit 31 (Whitehall Road). Despite a left lane closure on the westbound span for roadwork and two-way traffic prep, westbound flow remained mostly normal, peaking at 13 minutes around 1:00 PM.
