Heavy Eastbound Afternoon Delays Reach 4.5 Miles on US 50
Eastbound US 50 traffic backed up 4.5 miles to Exit 28 (Bay Dale Drive) during a peak 29-minute travel delay on Monday afternoon. Delays began around 11:41 AM at Exit 32 and steadily expanded through mid-afternoon before clearing by 5:26 PM. Westbound bridge traffic remained delay-free all day, although overnight roadwork closed the eastbound span by 9:57 PM, routing traffic into single-lane two-way flow on the westbound bridge.
