Wind warnings and suspended two-way operations cause afternoon eastbound delays

Eastbound traffic experienced severe evening delays reaching up to 27 minutes as sustained winds of 30 to 49 mph forced wind restrictions and suspended two-way traffic operations. Delays began around 3:00 PM and extended up to 3.5 miles back to Exit 29A (Busch's Frontage Road) by 4:00 PM. High-wind vehicle prohibitions were instituted by 6:52 PM before wind conditions and backups fully cleared by 7:22 PM.
