Commuters faced heavy Sunday volume, most notably at 6:17 p.m. when westbound traffic reached a 6.6-mile backup starting at Exit 43A (Jackson Creek Road). Midday eastbound delays also spanned 3.5 miles from Exit 29a, while a 5:08 p.m. crash near Exit 32 briefly closed the eastbound left lane.
